Homes were evacuated during a fire at a substation and garages in Feltham yesterday evening.

About 30 people were evacuated from their homes after the fire in Brainton Avenue about 6.45pm.

Four fire engines and about 20 firefighters attended the blaze which destroyed the seven garages and sub-station.

The fire was under control by 7.30pm and residents were allowed back in to their homes soon after.

Crews from Feltham, Heston, Twickenham and Kingston attended the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Actually you FUNNY FUNNY person, I'm serious.

If people aren't being set on fire, they're jumping from buildings which are alight. All I said was there seems to be a lot of fires in the news lately.

You must feel really big and clever. Well done you.

Actually you didn't say that, but if it pleases you, we'll forget you said "any connections"
